The short version

About these terms

These terms apply when you use StitchSlide at stitchslide.com, made by Joel Richard Escorpiso ("we", "us"). By using StitchSlide you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using StitchSlide

You may use StitchSlide for free, for personal or commercial projects. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live.

You agree not to:

Your content

You keep all rights to the photos, videos, text and designs you make with StitchSlide. We do not receive them, and we claim no ownership of them.

You are responsible for your content. Only use photos, videos, fonts, logos and text that you created or have permission to use. Most images found online belong to someone, including those you paste or drag in from other websites. When you post your work on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok or anywhere else, that platform's own rules apply.

Your projects and backups

Projects are saved in your browser's storage on your device, not on our servers. They can be lost if you clear your browser data, use private browsing, switch devices, or if your browser removes stored data to save space. We cannot recover lost projects. To keep a copy, export your carousel or save your project as a file.

Fonts and third-party services

Fonts offered in the editor come from Google Fonts under their own open licenses. If you upload your own fonts, you are responsible for having the right to use them. StitchSlide links to other services, such as Ko-fi and Instagram, which have their own terms. Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Apple Pencil are trademarks of their respective owners. StitchSlide is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Our name and app

StitchSlide™ and its logo are trademarks of Joel Richard Escorpiso. The app's design and code are protected by copyright. These terms do not give you any right to use our name or logo, except to say truthfully that you made something with StitchSlide.

Changes and availability

StitchSlide is a free tool that is still growing. We may change, add or remove features, or pause or stop the service, at any time and without notice. We may also update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use StitchSlide means you accept it.

No warranty

StitchSlide is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every device or browser, or that exported files will be accepted by every platform.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, projects, content, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of StitchSlide or your inability to use it. Our total liability for any claim relating to StitchSlide will not exceed fifty US dollars (US$50). Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Indemnity

If someone makes a claim against us because of content you made or shared with StitchSlide, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, as far as the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
